AhlulBayt News Agency: The Holy Quran introduces Jihad not as a tool for expansionism and domination, but as a defensive strategy to counter aggression, put an end to sedition, and support the oppressed. Based on the verses of Surah Al-Hajj (39), Surah Al-Baqarah (190 and 193), and Surah An-Nisa (75), Jihad in the logic of the Quran is founded upon three pillars: defense against invasion, combating oppression and occupation, and safeguarding human dignity and freedom. This perspective rejects all forms of domination and bullying, and regards the preservation of justice as a religious and human responsibility for the Islamic community.
